Come on ladies & gentlemen, the cinema has arrived in town! Ready to compete for props from old and new films? The show is about to begin!
Attention: this is an expansion! You need Chamber of Wonders Core Box in order to play Cinématographe Lumière.
Cinématographe Lumière expansion homages to a series of cult films will allow you to take advantage of a special token every time you exhibit one of these wonders.
These tokens will give you a random bonus out of the 4 listed below:
– Get £ 3
– Draw 1 Wonder card
– 1 Fame token
– Activate 1 Contact of your choice immediately.
Tokens are not tied to a specific card but will always be drawn randomly. Also, each card has different values than the others in this expansion.
Chamber of Wonders is fast to learn, fun to play, and a language-independent (which means no text in the game components) board game, for 1 to 4 players, with a 30 min duration.
Different Contacts and double-faced Areas (with 2 different effects each) always offer new combinations, giving enormous variability and longevity to the game.
The object of the game is to build the best Chamber of Wonders by collecting Wonder Cards through your Agents in the various areas of London, and placing them into your Display Cabinet.
Each player will score Fame Points by collecting Wonders and using their actions wisely. The winner will be the player who scores the highest number of Fame points.
