Requiem: The Downfall of Magic invites 1–4 players into a rich, story-driven world woven into the Nova Aetas/Nova Aetas Chronicles universe. Set in early 16th-century Europe amidst theological conflicts and esoteric dangers, this cooperative adventure blends exploration, evolving narrative chapters, and tactical encounters.

Players team up as unique heroes investigating the awakening of occult forces led by a mysterious necromancer faction. The game unfolds over an ever-changing map of hex tiles, where exploration reveals events, encounters and terrain shaping a narrative journey. A Chapter Book drives the story forward, delivering plot developments, special objectives, and quest-specific rules.

Combat encounters vary from standard clashes to epic boss battles with tailored mechanics and AI behaviors. Each character offers asymmetrical playstyles and progression choices, allowing you to customize skills and approaches as the campaign advances. Choices matter, with branching outcomes that lead toward different climactic finales.
